Understand if you are covered under Seattle’s App-Based Worker Deactivation Rights Ordinance.
- Seattle’s ordinance applies if a delivery partner’s deactivation is related to an incident or incidents that occurred while performing delivery services with Grubhub in Seattle. Additionally, coverage may apply even if your deactivation is linked to an incident that occurred during delivery services outside of Seattle. The deactivation ordinance extends to delivery partners who, during the previous 180 days, completed at least 25 percent of their Grubhub deliveries, or cancellations with cause, in Seattle.
- Calculate whether at least 25 percent of your Grubhub deliveries, or cancellations with cause, took place in Seattle by logging into the Driver Earnings Portal. From there, you can determine (i) the number of offers completed and cancelled with cause in the previous 180 days; (ii) the number of offers completed and cancelled with cause that occurred while performing delivery services in Seattle in the previous 180 days; and (iii) the overall percentage of offers completed and cancelled with cause that occurred while performing delivery services in Seattle in the previous 180 days.

- If you receive an email that your Grubhub delivery partner account is being deactivated, you may communicate directly with Grubhub personnel about issues related to the deactivation by responding directly to the email.
