Will catering and non-catering orders overlap?

No. 

Once you toggle on to take offers you will be eligible for all types of orders, however if you have a catering order pre-scheduled, you will not receive any other offers starting 45 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. This should give you time to complete your previous order and get to the restaurant regardless of your location.
