When can I start making deliveries as a new driver?

After you’ve been verified to partner with Grubhub, you can start delivering right away!

• If you opted-in to receive a Grubhub-branded delivery bag, we recommend using your own insulated delivery bag in the beginning as we will ship you your Grubhub gear after you complete your 1st delivery. 
• If you have your own insulated delivery bag and opt-out of Grubhub’s you can get on the road right away!
• If your market requires that you have an active Grubhub Driver Card*, you are allowed to deliver immediately until your Driver Card arrives. Once you receive your Driver Card, please activate the card in the app.
• If your market does not require you to have an active Grubhub Driver Card*, there is no need to wait! You can deliver with any insulated delivery bag whether you’re waiting on your bag to arrive or you've opted out of receiving a bag from Grubhub.

Remember:

You must use insulated delivery bags when making deliveries with Grubhub. This can be any insulated delivery bag.

*Only applicable to certain markets. You'll know if you need this from your onboarding
