A delivery boundary is a group of neighborhoods within your region where the restaurants that Grubhub partners with are located. You'll want to be in your region’s delivery boundaries when you set your status to Taking Offers.
Why do delivery boundaries matter?
Delivery boundaries are important because in order to receive deliveries from Grubhub, you will need to begin your block by toggling available within the delivery boundaries.
To ensure that you receive as many orders as possible during your block, you should stay within the delivery boundaries until you are finished delivering for the day.
Will Grubhub ever ask me to deliver outside of my normal delivery area?
Yes. You may receive offers for deliveries where the diner is outside of your normal delivery area. If accepted, once finished with your delivery start to return to the delivery area. Grubhub will be actively looking for an order that can bringing you back. The closer to your area, the higher your chances of getting a new offer.
Please Note: Some regions have expanded to offer more restaurants to diners and more offers to delivery partners. In these instances, you may receive offers for deliveries that are outside of your normal area.
How will I know the delivery boundaries?
The delivery boundaries are outlined in the main Tasks screen in the driver app.
