When can I start making deliveries as a new driver?

After you’ve been verified to partner with Grubhub!

• If you have your own insulated delivery bag and opt out of Grubhub’s you can get on the road right away!

• If your gear is being shipped, there's no need to wait! You can deliver with any insulated delivery bag!

• If your market requires that you have an active Grubhub Driver Card*, you are allowed to deliver immediately for 14 days as you wait for your Grubhub Driver Card to arrive. By the 14th day, if you do not have an active Grubhub Driver Card, please request a new one.

• If your market does not require you to have an active Grubhub Driver Card*, there's no need to wait! You can deliver with any insulated delivery bag whether you’re waiting on your bag to arrive or you've opted out of receiving a bag from Grubhub.

Remember:

• You must use insulated delivery bags when making deliveries with Grubhub. This can be any insulated delivery bag.
• While delivering Grubhub orders, it is required that you wear a mask or face covering that meets CDC guidelines and properly covers your mouth and nose to help stop the spread of COVID-19. You can order PPE, including masks, from our online shop every 30 days or you can create a homemade cloth face-covering following these CDC instructions.
