Grubhub wants to help delivery partners make a difference in their communities by allowing them to nominate an eligible local nonprofit organization from their city or a community organization they support. Nominated organizations will have the opportunity to receive a grant of up to $5,000 from the Grubhub Community Fund.*
Submission Window: August 20 - September 10, 2024
Delivery Partner Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a Grubhub Premier level delivery partner or an active delivery partner in good standing that has held Premier level status in the last six months.
- Each eligible delivery partner can submit one nomination. Nominations must be 501(c)(3) charitable organizations and meet additional eligibility requirements detailed below.
- Must be submitted by the posted deadline. No email nominations or other forms of submissions will be accepted.
- Eligible delivery partners will receive access to the nomination form via email.
- Participation in the program is first-come, first-served. Offer is only valid to the original recipient of this email from Grubhub. You will not be able to participate once the maximum number of nominations have been received (as determined by Grubhub).
Nonprofit Nomination Eligibility:
- Nominated organizations must be a U.S. organization
- Nominated organizations must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization under the US Internal Revenue Code.
- Nominated nonprofits must provide services within the below categories:
- Food and Meal Programs: Organizations providing food and meals programs including food banks, food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters providing meal services, and afterschool/out-of-school/summer meal programs.
- Workforce Development Programs: Organizations that provide youth and adult workforce development/vocational training, culinary arts training, career exploration, business development and/or entrepreneurship programs.
- Community Organizations: Organizations operating community-based programs aimed at helping their communities thrive and supporting the overall well-being of individuals and families.
- The below organizations are not eligible for this grant opportunity:
- Schools (public private, charter, colleges and universities)
- School PTA and similar organizations
- Youth and adult recreational and sports programs (or other similar programs).
- Religious organizations
- For-profit organizations including social enterprises
- Private non-operating foundations.
- Governmental entities and government related organizations.
- Non-functionally-integrated (FISO) type III supporting organizations.

*The Driver Community Grant Program is made possible by the Grubhub Community Fund. The Grubhub Community Fund is a donor-advised fund (DAF) at a national sponsoring organization. Once you have submitted your nomination, it will be reviewed by Grubhub. Eligible nominated organizations will be invited to submit an application for the opportunity to be recommended for a grant of up to $5,000 from the Grubhub Community Fund. All grant recommendations are subject to final approval by the DAF sponsoring organization.

The Grubhub Community Fund is a donor-advised fund (DAF) administered by Fidelity Charitable, a national sponsoring organization. The Grubhub Community Fund is made possible through donations from our customers through our Donate the Change feature. Grubhub matches contributions on eligible orders from our Grubhub+ members.
What is the maximum grant amount a nonprofit organization can receive?
Nominations will be vetted by Grubhub. If eligible, organizations will be invited to submit an application for a Grubhub Community Fund grant of up to $5,000. All grant recommendations are subject to final approval by the DAF sponsoring organization.
When will I be notified if my nomination is awarded a grant?
All notifications and program announcements will be made by or before December 31, 2024.
